Mid Wales Camping and Tipi is based at Woodhouse Farm, St, Harmon just 6 miles from the small town of Rhayader and slightly further from Llanidloes, and is set in the most glorious Mid Wales countryside alongside the River Marteg, a tributary of the River Wye.
We offer a unique style of accomodation with our 18 foot tipi which will sleep up to 8 people. It is located in a secluded corner of the farm, well away from other activities, and is ideal for couples or larger groups and offers an experience to remember.
Camping and Caravanning is available for Camping and Caravaning Club members on our certificated site, number 147/093. We have 5 pitches all with electric hook up which are generally available all year round and additional space for tents during the summer and, depending on the weather, into the autumn. Camping can also be combined with a stay in the tipi.
For those who prefer a more permanent roof over their heads the bunkhouse is an option to consider. For larger groups a combination of bunkhouse accomodation, tipi and camping is a popular option.
